Our wishbone necklace is our most popular item yet! We think it has something to do with it's timeless look & also its superstitious history. According to archaeologists, the Etruscans-an ancient Italian tribe-believed chickens were oracles and could predict the future. After a chicken was killed, the furcula "wishbone" was laid out in the sun to dry so it could be preserved, so the tribe would still have access to the oracle's power even after eating it. People would pick up the bone, stroke it, and make their wishes, hence its modern name.
